Project Overview
My collaboration with Vindemia Estate & Winery was multifaceted, involving a bespoke website design for their new wedding hosting venture, a complete overhaul of their POS system for improved Wine Club management, the modernization of hardware infrastructure, and the execution of strategies to enhance online reputation. These concerted efforts were directed towards aligning the winery's digital presence with its expanding business avenues and delivering an efficient and contemporary experience for both customers and employees.
Project Execution
Starting with a custom-designed website, I coded the entire platform from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring that the aesthetics and functionalities precisely matched the winery's foray into wedding hosting. Following this, I led the transition to a new POS system that centered on an enriched Wine Club management experience. This involved conducting detailed demos with various wine POS providers, managing data migration, and overseeing a frictionless transition. I further modernized the winery's systems by implementing new hardware, including EMV devices, tablets, desktop computers, thermal printers, and cash registers. This hardware upgrade not only modernized the POS system but also enhanced customer data capture, particularly for the Wine Club membership. To provide a holistic solution, I also managed all winery-related software and provided essential training to employees. Additionally, I designed postcards with QR codes to motivate customers to leave reviews on platforms like Google and TripAdvisor, boosting the winery's online reputation.
